Last updated August 24, 2026.
1. Purpose
This policy supplements the Terms of Service and defines acceptable use of Roots HQ.
2. Permitted Uses
Use the platform to operate a legitimate retail or wholesale business, manage customer relationships, run marketing campaigns, and process orders.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Do not use Roots HQ to: send unsolicited commercial messages (spam); collect or process data without appropriate consent; conduct fraudulent transactions; violate any applicable law; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other tenants' data or to platform administration; reverse-engineer the platform.
4. Messaging Compliance
Email and SMS campaigns must comply with applicable law, including CAN-SPAM and TCPA. You are responsible for ensuring contacts have consented to receive messages. The platform provides opt-out mechanisms — you must honor them.

Content you publish through Roots HQ (blog posts, product listings, campaign copy) must not be defamatory, obscene, or infringing on third-party rights.
6. Security
Do not attempt to probe, scan, or test the security of the platform. Report suspected vulnerabilities to us rather than exploiting them.
7. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this policy without prior notice in cases of severe or repeated violations.
